Rochester Woman Pleads Guilty To Stealing Prescription Drugs From Patients

Rochester N.Y.- A Rochester woman has pleaded guilty to stealing approximately 650 prescription drugs from a total of eight elderly patients at the Heather Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility in the Town of Pittsford.

42 year old Deborah Cleveland at the time worked as a medication technician at the facility, where she stole prescription narcotics for her personal use and tried to hide the theft by substituting pills that looked similar in appearance.

Cleveland pled guilty to the misdemeanor crime of Attempted Scheme to Defraud in the 1st Degree and is expected to receive a sentence of probation and four weekends in the Monroe County Jail when she is sentenced on October 16th.
