Buffalo, N.Y. - Buffalo Sabres Owner Terry Pegula has bid more than $1 billion for the Buffalo Bills.

Bidders had until 5 p.m. Tuesday to make a purchase offer for the team.  The New York Post says the Pegulas' bid would be a record price for an NFL team.  The Pegulas have previously stated that they have an interest in keeping the Bills in western New York.  Other possible buyers are Jon Bon Jovi, Donald Trump, and Tom Golisano.  Trump is the only known person with interest that has confirmed making a bid.
