Rochester, N.Y. - The Rochester City School District is getting help from President Barack Obama.

The district is getting involved with an initiative called "My Brother's Keeper." The aim of the program started by the White House earlier this year is to help black and Latino boys do better in school.

Rochester joins 50 other school districts including the Buffalo Public School District to pledge larger access to preschool and programs aimed at preventing suspensions and expulsions.

Obama announced Monday that he's expanding the program.
