Many students, parents, teachers  and colleagues turned out at a  Rochester school board meeting Thursday night to support the now former principal of Rochester's Monroe High School . Armand Ramirez says he learned that he was being replaced as the principal of Monroe High School when he saw his job posted online. It was not until Thursday afternoon that he got the official word when he met with Superintendent Bolgen Vargas. Vargas apologized to Ramirez at the meeting about the way he found out, saying it was a mistake.

Ramirez is tentured, so he will also be offered another position within the district.
