Rochester, N.Y. - A guilty plea from a Rochester man in connection with an incident that left 6 students on their way to school last Fall.
Mark Heeks Jr, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular assault Tuesday.
He drove his SUV off the road hitting six students who were walking to School Without Walls at the intersection of Broadway and Alexander last December 13th.
Heeks admitted that he had used heroin and that he blacked out behind the wheel. All of the students involved suffered non-life threatening injures.
Heeks will be sentenced in September. He faces to 2 1/3 to 7 years in prison.
