Rochester, N.Y. - Might the now closed nursing home Blossom South end up housing immigrant children?

Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren's team has sent out a statement saying that Warren's Chief of Staff was contacted by a lobbyist on behalf of Blossom South to gauge city interest in placing some place some of the children there who are pouring into the U.S. from Central America.

The Mayor's team says for now, it is only a simple inquiry - nothing more.

Sunday's statement said Warren's Chief of Staff plans to brief the Mayor later today  about Blossom South's inquiry.
