Rochester N.Y- The City of Rochester has filed papers with City Court to shut down the Captain's Attic club in the East End as a public nuisance.

The State Liquor Authority is now investigating the club for possible liquor law violations as well -- and could pull the club's liquor license.

The city's complaint says Captain's Attic has been cited 26 times for violations from shootings to serving alcohol after closing time. The club's owner has ten days to respond and can request a hearing. He can keep operating pending the outcome of that hearing, which could be months in coming.
