Rochester Police have arrested two men in connection with the robbery of a University of Rochester graduate student earlier this week.

Nineteen-year-old Dominic Black and 18-year-old Everson Porchea were taken into custody. Both charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree and Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree. Both have been arraigned.

Police believe they're the men who accosted the 36-year-old grad student on the Wilson Boulevard pedestrian bridge over the Genesee River, stealing his cell phone, book bag and wallet.

The robbery raised new concerns about student safety on the bridge which connects the River Campus with the neighborhood on the far side of the Genesee where many students live.
