Rochester / Albany, N.Y. – Four year graduation rates remained flat for High School students across the state. For the students who entered High School in the Fall of 2008, 74% of them graduated on time.

Graduation rates for four of the Big 5 school districts remained relatively stable; Buffalo’s graduation rate dropped by more than seven percent dropping from 54% to 46.8%.

Graduation rates in the city of Rochester fell from 45.5% to 43.4%.

Syracuse, New York City, and Yonkers remained flat.
