Fairport, NY -- The family of a Fairport man who was shot to death last fall in Pittsford is now offering $25,000 for information that solves the case.

Jeffrey Newland left his home at 5 a.m. October 21st. His gray Mazda was found that night along Golf Avenue. His body was found in the adjacent cornfield the next day.

A billboard advertising the reward has been posted on westbound 31F in Fairport just before the Baird Road Intersection.

Anyone with information should call the Monroe County Sheriff's Office or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 423-9300.

Newland's family says in a statement "We continue to wake each day to a devastating loss we cannot understand; we continue to navigate life with fear; and we pray constantly for the justice Jeff deserves."
