A skier was rushed to FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua yesterday after collapsing on the ski slopes at Bristol Mountain.
Robert Parker, 59, of Pittsford is listed in critical condition. The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says firefighters and EMTs from Naples and Canandaigua responded and the Bristol Mountain staff were already doing CPR on the victim.
Witnesses said Parker appeared to go out of control and fall -- but officials aren't sure if he suffered a medical condition first, if the fall caused his heart to stop, or a combination of the two.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office is asking for additional witnesses to give them a call at (585) 394-4560.
