Rochester N.Y.-  Deputy Mayor Leonard Redon has pleaded not guilty to a DWI charge and has had his license suspended while his court case is pending.

A police officer said Redon had a "wobbly gait " the night he was pulled over March 29th, on 490 near Clinton. The officer says Redon told him that he had consumed three glasses of wine at Pomadoro Resturant. Redon is charged with DWI, speeding and with having an expired inspection.

Following his  arrest, Reed-in did offer his resignation to Mayor Lovely Warren, but she refused not accept it.

His attorney says his client's recent diabetes diagnosis may have played a part in the case
