Rochester N.Y.-  The woman who was cleared of charges in the death of a beloved Fairport High School teacher, has been arrested again.

 

City Court records show that  25-year-old Megan Merkel  was charged with criminal mischief. A Rochester man claimed she cut the power cords to two televisions at his home on Alice Street in April.

Last year,  Merkel was cleared of felony manslaughter and vehicular manslaughter charges for the death of Heather Boyum . Boyum  died after getting hit by a motorcycle and moments later, the car driven by Merkel who was drunk and did not have a license.

Mark Scerbo, the one driving the motorcycle, is serving up to 15 years in prison.
