Yates County, N.Y. - The U.S. Small Business Administration has signed off on disaster loans for the homeowners, renters and business owners in Yates County who were hit hard by flooding and heavy rain in May.

That means that homeowners and renters can apply for up to $40,000 in loans to replace personal property. Homeowners can also apply for up to $200,000 to repair, replace and clean damaged homes. Business owners can apply for up to $2 million dollars.

 The Small Business Administration will set up a temporary office in Yates County where those who were affected can go to apply for the loans.
