(13WHAM) Penfield, N.Y. – Ellison Park is officially closed Friday and Saturday.

Monroe Co. Parks Dept. Director Larry Staub said the water will drain on its own and then crews will have to pick up debris and dead fish. He hopes to have the park fully open by early next week.
Staub said this ranks as one of the worst flooding cases in the park because it's rare to have both sides of the park flooded like it is, but it has been worse. Blossom Road has flooded in the past which is not the case today.
