Brian Gionta is coming home. The Greece native has agreed on a 3 year deal with the Buffalo Sabres worth a little more than $4million dollars a season. Gionta played the last five seasons with the Montreal Canadians and was team captain the last four. He started the first seven years of his career as a New Jersey Devil. The Buffalo Sabres have also acquired defenseman Josh Gorges in a trade with the Montreal Canadiens. In exchange, the Sabres gave up a second-round pick in the 2016 draft in a deal made Tuesday shortly after the start of the NHL's free-agency period. Image from Yahoo Sports
