Orchard Park, NY -- The Buffalo Bills say Morgan Stanley has been retained to serve as financial advisor during the process to sell the team. The firm Proskauer Rose has been engaged to serve as legal advisor for the process.

The team says the sale process will be designed to ensure that the club continues to meet its obligations under the NFL’s rules and to the state and Erie County pursuant to the Ralph Wilson Stadium lease.

It's expected that the transaction team will begin contacting prospective buyers within the next 30 days.
